LG Infinia LV5500 big brand LED Smart TV at an affordable price. Wi-Fi and Smart TV. Not bad considering it’s one of the cheapest big name TVs in this class.

The LG Infinia LV5500 is available in three different display sizes:

Color Reproduction

With a bit of tweaking the LG LV5500 color reproduction is stunningly accurate. The colors it produces look very realistic and the LG doesn’t produce any un-natural hues or tints as I have seen exhibited in other models in this class which can look a bit artificial.

Video Performance

As a whole the color reproduction and gamma levels are very good once configured optimally. This is something I have found to be one of LGs strong points, you are able to achieve a great setup using LG”s advanced settings. Also LG’s out of the box Cinema mode produces goods results.

Connectivity

The LV5500 includes a generous selection of connectivity options and doesn’t leave anything out. Importantly it has 4 HDMI inputs, 2 USB ports with a Wi-Fi dongle included as well an Ethernet connection for Internet connectivity. As well as this the LV5500 has a PC video connection, 2 composite inputs and 1 component input.

Review Summary

Solid picture, one of the best Smart TVs available with a complete App suite, great connectivity options with Wi-Fi included, slick menu system and settings, innovative Magic Motion remote control and I’ll save the best bit until last.
